On May 25, 2020 George Floyd was killed by police officers in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Even though Black Lives Matter was formed in 2013, the death of George Floyd ignited a wave of protests across the United States, and the world. For weeks, people took to the street to share their pain and outrage. They were, and still are, demanding change. These photographs were taken at the protests in Denver, Colorado and tell the stories to those tired of unjust killings. Feel their pain. Hear their cry.
